Chopped Face and Flat Cut Stone - Blue Limestone

One of our custom builders had the idea to use chopped face and flat cut stone on the same home.  We worked with them on a way to integrate both types of stone together throughout the home so that each stone type was highlighted.

We were contacted by a homeowner who was distraught over the brick arches on the front of her home failing and posing a risk of falling.  She was absolutely correct.  The previous brickwork wouldn't have lasted much longer.

To correct this, we removed the broken arch brickwork and installed steel arch supports before relaying the new arch brick.  Now the home is not only safe, but the arches really dress up the front of this home.

Exterior Kitchen and Patio

This outdoor kitchen started off as a plain concrete slab.  The owners had an idea of what they wanted, and we finished out a great area for them to entertain guests.  We started by laying a limestone patio in a flagstone pattern.  We designed cabinets to enclose their refrigerator, grill, side burner, drawers, and access door beneath the sink.  We added a short wall around the patio as a border.  In the wall behind the grill, we laid the brick in a framed herringbone pattern to give the wall visual appeal.

For those doing major remodeling or building from scratch, this type work can really upgrade the look of a kitchen.  We also do interior accent walls.  A popular choices have been to add stone below the bar or on a wall in the entryway or dining room.
